Pulmonary Medicine

The Oregon Clinic’s team of pulmonologists provide expertise in evaluating and treating disorders of the respiratory system, specifically diseases of the lungs and associated organs.

Our Pulmonologists treat patients with a variety of breathing complications and respiratory disorders as well as sleep related illnesses, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. These conditions include ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome), asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, and various other conditions. We also provide a variety of minimally invasive services, including advanced diagnosis and treatment of airway tumors and lung cancer.

Our pulmonologists are active in the Oregon Health & Science University medical school, Providence Portland Medical Center, and Providence St. Vincent residency programs as teachers, program directors and researchers. Along with other area medical specialists, our pulmonologists participate in the Thoracic Oncology Program, which provides advanced management of chest cancers such as lung and esophageal cancer. We highly trained physicians provide advanced testing and procedures, including bronchoscopy.

We are proud be part of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation’s (PFF) Care Center Network, a national network of medical centers with expertise in treating adult patients with fibrotic lung diseases. The Oregon Clinic is one of 68 medical centers nationwide designated with expertise in accurately diagnosing and treating people with pulmonary fibrosis.
